Add Intervention Channels and Reach to an Indirect Activity

From the PEARS homepage, hover over the Engage menu and click on Indirect Activities:
The Indirect Activities list displays. Click the indirect activity that you would like to add intervention channels to:
The indirect activity General Information page displays. Click on the Intervention Channels and Reach link:
Click the Add Intervention Channel button:
The Add Intervention Channel window displays. Select a option from the Intervention Channel field:
Optionally, add descriptive details about the channel in the Description field:
A site may be assigned to the intervention channel:
In the next two fields, optionally enter the number of unique individuals reached, and specify source of reach data:
If all the above data is entered, click Save:
When all the intervention channels you would like to associate with this record have been added, click Save and Continue to move on to next section, or Save to go back to the overview page for the Indirect Activity:

✓ TIP: By default, your Indirect Activity list shows records that you have created in the current reporting year. Update the Filters to view additional records.

✓ TIP: You may repeat this process and continue to add more intervention channels to the indirect activity.

✓ TIP: The red asterisk * next to the heading of a field indicates that the field is required. You will not be able to save the until you have added input into that field.

NOTE: In some organizations, the Site field may be required. Organization Administrators can determine whether the Site field should be optional or required for Indirect Activities. via the Organization Settings page.

GLOSSARY: Unique vs. New Individuals:
Unique individuals: This is the unduplicated number of individuals who were exposed to the indirect activity, regardless of their exposure to any other related interventions.
New individuals: This is the unduplicated number of individuals who were exposed to the indirect activity and have not been exposed to a related PSE intervention, program activity, or social marketing campaign.
