Welcome to the PEARS homepage! This is the first page you see when you log into PEARS. The homepage provides an overview of your reporting for the current year, a list of your unfinished items, and a log of your recent activity. The main menu at the top of the page allows you to access other sections of PEARS where you can track your work, analyze data, and get help. For more details on each part of the homepage, see the following article. Click one of the links listed below to jump to a specific section:
Main Menu
The Plan menu includes modules related to preparatory work or reporting:
- Action Plans*
- Surveys
- Professional Development*
- Performance Review Plans*
The Performance Review Plans module is only available for Organization Administrators.
The Track menu includes the primary data-entry modules. These modules are used to report different types of work performed throughout the year:
- Action Plan Outcomes*
- Quarterly Efforts*
- Direct Contacts*
- Program Activities
- Success Stories
- Indirect Activities
- Partnerships
- Coalitions
- PSE Site Activities**
- Social Marketing Campaigns**
- CRM (Community Relationships)*
The Review menu includes modules that enable administrators to view or approve data:
- Action Plans*
- Professional Development Plans*
- Event Proposals*
The Analyze menu includes modules that allow all users to download and review data reported in PEARS. An export is listed for each module under the Track menu, allowing users to download data from each module into an Excel file. A number of reports are listed as well.

The magnifying glass icon allows users to access a site-wide search page. This page can be used to search for data across multiple PEARS modules. For more information on using the search page, see the following article: Search for Data.
The gear icon displays for administrators and provides access to the following management pages:
- Manage Users
- Board Members*
- Directors*
- Manage Lists
- Manage Sites
- Manage Reporting Periods
The question mark icon includes reference pages. Use these pages for help with PEARS or for additional information:

- Directory
- Board Members*
The Board Members page is only available for Unit Directors.
Each user’s username displays in the main menu. The Manage Account page is available for all users. This page can be used for password changes or to view information regarding permissions. For users with access to multiple organizations in PEARS, other organizations can be accessed through the Switch Organization page.

Overview
The Overview section provides information about your data from the current reporting year. A label appears below the section, listing the current user’s name and the current reporting periods for reference. Records that you have created are included in the Overview section. Additionally, records in which you are listed as a collaborator that contributed are included.
Success Stories
Unfinished Items
A list of Unfinished Items displays at the bottom of the homepage. This list can help you track records that you may need to finish before the end of the current reporting year. Records from the current reporting year that have not been marked as complete are listed. Records that you have created are included in the list. Additionally, records in which you are listed as a collaborator that contributed are included.

On the right-hand side of the homepage, a list of data you have recently worked with is included. Click the title of a record to jump to the data in PEARS.
Symbols indicate the type of work performed:
- The plus icon indicates a record was created.
- The pencil icon indicates a record was edited.
- The “x” icon indicates a record was deleted.
