A pricing message is displayed on the event registration page to help participants understand the costs associated with an event before registering. Previously, this message was based only on the base registration fee, which could be misleading for events with additional session or add-on costs. Now, the pricing message reflects the full cost structure of the event, including optional and required fees.

Previously, separate messages were displayed based solely on individual fee types. A free event with paid add-ons would show a “Free” indicator alongside a separate note about add-ons, which could give participants the impression that the event was entirely free.
Updated
Now, a single, unified pricing message is displayed on the event registration page. This message is built from two parts — one describing the base registration fee and one describing any additional session or add-on fees — and is determined automatically based on the event’s pricing configuration. No action is needed from event creators.
Registration Fee Messages
The first part of the pricing message describes the base registration fee:

Registration Type Labels
In addition to the pricing message, the registration type dropdown on the registration form now indicates whether a registration type includes additional fees. Participants will see labels such as:
Attendee $50.00 + required fees — when required session or add-on fees are associated with the registration type
Attendee $50.00 + optional fees — when optional session or add-on fees are associated with the registration type
Attendee $50.00 — when no additional fees apply
Attendee Free — when no base cost applies
