# Delete an Event Proposal

Learn how to delete an event proposal in PEARS.

Follow the steps below to delete an event proposal.

#### Navigate to Professional Development

From the PEARS homepage, hover over the **Plan** menu and click **Professional Development**.

#### Select an Event Proposal

Click the **Event Proposals** tab, then click the event proposal you want to delete.

#### Click Delete

On the event proposal detail page, click the **Delete** button.

#### Confirm Deletion

A confirmation dialog appears. Click **OK** to permanently delete the event proposal.
