# Potential Reach

Estimate the potential audience for your social marketing campaign by defining market segments and their population counts.

#### Add a Market Segment

Click the **Add Market Segment** button to define a target audience segment for the campaign.

#### Enter SNAP-Ed Eligible Count

Enter the **SNAP-Ed Eligible Count** for the market segment. This represents the number of individuals within the segment who qualify as SNAP-Ed eligible.

#### Enter Total Count

Enter the **Total Count** for the market segment. This represents the total population of the segment, regardless of SNAP-Ed eligibility.

#### Add Additional Market Segments

Repeat the process to add as many market segments as needed to capture the full potential reach of your campaign.

#### Save and Continue

Click **Save and Continue** to save your potential reach data and proceed to the [Channel Reach](/engage/social-marketing-campaigns/channel-reach.md) step.

**TIP:** Define market segments that align with the target audiences identified in your campaign planning. This data helps measure the proportion of eligible populations reached.

**NOTE:** The SNAP-Ed Eligible Count should not exceed the Total Count for any market segment.
