# Delete a Program Activity

Learn how to delete a program activity record in PEARS.

Follow the steps below to delete a program activity record.

**NOTE:** A program activity that is marked as complete cannot be deleted. Click **Mark as Incomplete** on the record first, then delete it.

**NOTE:** A program activity with attached surveys cannot be deleted. PEARS lists the attached surveys and stops the deletion until you [remove each one](/engage/program-activities/delete-an-attached-survey.md) from the **Evaluation** section.

#### Navigate to Program Activities

From the PEARS homepage, hover over the **Engage** menu and click **Program Activities**.

#### Select a Program Activity

Click the program activity you want to delete.

#### Click Delete

On the program activity detail page, click the **Delete** button.

#### Confirm Deletion

A confirmation page asks whether you are sure you want to delete the program activity, and lists any linked items, such as a community event, that will no longer be connected and any uploads that will be deleted along with it. Click **Yes** to permanently delete the record, or **No** to go back.

**NOTE:** Deleting a program activity is permanent and cannot be undone.
