# Mark an Indirect Activity as Complete

Learn how to mark an indirect activity as complete in PEARS.

After completing all required sections, you can mark the indirect activity as complete.

A record is ready to be marked as complete when every section in the **Progress** panel is checked off:

* **General Information** has been saved.
* **Collaborators** has been saved.
* **Partnerships** has been saved, if your organization uses that section.
* Any required **Custom Data** is complete.
* At least one **intervention channel** has been added.

#### Open the Indirect Activity

Navigate to the indirect activity detail page.

#### Click Mark as Complete

In the **Progress** panel, click **Mark as Complete**. If any section is still incomplete, PEARS asks you to finish entering data in each section first; the **Progress** panel shows which sections still need data.

#### Confirm

Review the confirmation message and click the **Mark as Complete** button. A **Completed** badge appears next to the record's title on the detail page.

To make changes to a completed record, click **Mark as Incomplete** in the **Progress** panel to re-enable editing.
