# Edit an Indirect Activity

Follow the steps below to edit an existing indirect activity record.

#### Navigate to Indirect Activities

From the PEARS homepage, hover over the **Engage** menu and click **Indirect Activities**.

#### Select an Indirect Activity

The Indirect Activities list displays available records. Click the record you want to edit.

#### Click Edit

On the indirect activity detail page, click the **Edit** button.

#### Edit the Indirect Activity

Modify the indirect activity details as needed. For field-specific guidance, refer to:

#### Save

Click **Save and Continue** to save changes and proceed to the next section, or click **Save** to save and return to the record detail page.

**NOTE:** You may only edit Indirect Activities you created in the current reporting period, unless you are a collaborator, editable user, or Data Manager. Contact your Data Manager to access records from previous reporting periods. Organization Data Managers are listed in the [PEARS Directory](/accounts-and-permissions/accounts-and-permissions/directory.md).

**CAUTION:** Changing program areas may impact existing data. When switching between SNAP-Ed and Extension program areas, SNAP-Ed-specific fields are removed, including Intervention Name, Food demonstration/taste test, Recipe(s) used, Intervention Topics, and Estimated number of new individuals reached.
