# Delete an Indirect Activity

Learn how to delete an indirect activity record in PEARS.

Follow the steps below to delete an indirect activity record.

#### Navigate to Indirect Activities

From the PEARS homepage, hover over the **Engage** menu and click **Indirect Activities**.

#### Select an Indirect Activity

Click the indirect activity you want to delete.

#### Click Delete

On the indirect activity detail page, click the **Delete** button.

#### Confirm Deletion

A confirmation page asks whether you are sure you want to delete the indirect activity. Any linked items that will be disconnected, and any uploads that will also be deleted, are listed here. Click **Yes** to permanently delete the indirect activity, or **No** to go back.

**NOTE:** Deleting an indirect activity is permanent and cannot be undone.

**NOTE:** Completed indirect activities cannot be deleted. Click **Mark as Incomplete** on the record's detail page first.
