# Evaluation

Evaluate the coalition's relationship depth, active engagement, SNAP-Ed influence, and accomplishments.

Complete the evaluation to capture the coalition's effectiveness, engagement level, and influence on SNAP-Ed objectives.

**NOTE:** Formal assessments are not recommended until a coalition has been in place for at least six months.

#### Select the relationship depth

Choose the **Depth of relationship / level of engagement** that best describes the current level of collaboration within the coalition. The link in the field's help text opens descriptions of each level, from **Network** through **Collaboration**.

#### Select the active engagement assessment tool

Choose the **Assessment tool used to document level of active engagement of members** from the dropdown. The link in the field's help text opens the list of recommended partnership and coalition evaluation tools, several of them with downloadable PDFs, including the Wilder Collaboration Factors Inventory, the Butterfoss Coalition Effectiveness Inventory, and the CoalitionsWork Evaluability Assessment.

**TIP:** If no tool was used, choose **None**. If you choose an **Other** option, a text field appears for you to name the tool.

#### Enter active engagement results

Enter the **Brief description of results** from the active engagement assessment. This field appears once you select a tool other than **None**, and it must be filled in before you can save.

#### Select the SNAP-Ed influence assessment tool

Choose the **Assessment tool used to document the level of influence** the coalition has on SNAP-Ed priorities.

#### Enter SNAP-Ed influence results

Enter the **Brief description of results** from the SNAP-Ed influence assessment.

#### Enter accomplishments

Describe the coalition's key accomplishments in the **Briefly describe any accomplishments of this coalition for the current reporting period** field.

#### Save the evaluation

Click **Save** to store the evaluation data for this coalition, or **Save and continue** to save and move on to the next section.
