Export survey response data from PEARS as Excel workbooks for analysis.
Survey Response Exports allow you to download survey response data collected through Program Activities as Excel (.xlsx) workbooks. Three export types are available, each organizing the data differently to support different analysis needs.

To access Survey Response Exports, click the Analyze tab in the top navigation bar and select the appropriate export from the Survey Data section. Each export displays a list of available surveys or questions based on your permissions.
TIP: Only surveys with a purpose of Direct Education and at least one question are available for export. You can only export response data for Program Activities you have permission to view.
Export all response data for a single survey. Each row represents one survey response, with columns for every question and response option on the survey.
Export response data for a single question across all surveys that include it. Useful for analyzing how a specific question performs across different surveys and programs.
Export pre/post (and followup/retrospective) response data matched by a unique identifier, allowing you to compare an individual participant's responses across survey delivery types.
All three export types generate an Excel workbook with the following worksheets:
Codebook — Describes each column in the workbook, lists applied filters, and provides notes about the export.
Summary Statistics — Statistical analysis of responses including frequency, percent of response, mean, median, mode, and standard deviation for Pre, Post, Followup, and Retrospective survey types. Also includes change in percent and percentage change between Pre and Post.
Response Data — The raw response data rows.
The Responses by Matched ID export includes an additional Matching Errors worksheet.
