# PSE Funding

Shows the role SNAP-Ed funding played in PSE Site Activities, broken out by level of contribution.

#### Location

This panel appears on the following dashboards:

* [SNAP-Ed Dashboard](/analyze/impact-dashboards/snap-ed-dashboard.md)
* [Extension Dashboard](/analyze/impact-dashboards/extension-dashboard.md)

#### Modules Included

* PSE Site Activities (Strategy data)

#### Filters

**Applied Filters**

* **Viewable records** — Only PSE Site Activities the current user has permission to view are included.

**Non-Applicable Filters**

* **Verified** — The PSE module does not have a verification status field.
* **Session Date Range** — PSE Site Activities do not have session occurrences.
* **Primary Curriculum** — PSE Site Activities do not have a curriculum field.

#### Calculations

1. PEARS retrieves all viewable PSE Site Activities that match the current dashboard filters.
2. For each PSE record, the panel reads the six funding-role fields recorded on the **Strategy** page, which the chart labels **Initiated The Effort**, **Fostered Community Engagement**, **Funded or Provided Guidance**, **Funded or Provided Training**, **Funded or Conducted Implementation**, and **Funded or Provided Evaluation**.
3. For each role, the records are counted by the level of contribution selected: **Lead / Major Role**, **Supportive Role**, **No Role**, or **N/A**.
4. A stacked column chart is displayed where:
   * The x-axis shows the six funding roles.
   * Each stacked segment represents a level of contribution.
   * The segment height represents the number of PSE Site Activities recording that level of contribution for that role.

#### Additional Notes

* The six funding roles and the four levels of contribution are fixed in PEARS. They are recorded on the **Strategy** page of each PSE Site Activity and describe how SNAP-Ed funds contributed to the effort.
