# PSE Changes Adopted by Level

Shows the count of PSE changes adopted at each change level — Policy, Systems, Environmental, and Promotion.

#### Location

This panel appears on the following dashboards:

* [SNAP-Ed Dashboard](/analyze/impact-dashboards/snap-ed-dashboard.md)
* [Extension Dashboard](/analyze/impact-dashboards/extension-dashboard.md)

#### Modules Included

* PSE Site Activities (Changes Adopted data)

#### Filters

**Applied Filters**

* **Viewable records** — Only PSE Site Activities the current user has permission to view are included.
* **Implementation stage** — Only PSE Site Activities with a planning stage of **Started implementation of changes**, **Continued to implement changes**, **Worked to maintain changes**, or **Conducted follow-up assessments, evaluation, and/or monitoring** are included.

**Non-Applicable Filters**

* **Verified** — The PSE module does not have a verification status field.
* **Session Date Range** — PSE Site Activities do not have session occurrences.
* **Primary Curriculum** — PSE Site Activities do not have a curriculum field.

#### Calculations

1. PEARS retrieves all viewable PSE Site Activities that match the current dashboard filters and have reached one of the implementation or maintenance planning stages listed above.
2. Changes adopted on those records are grouped by the level of the change: **Policy**, **Systems**, **Environmental**, or **Promotion**.
3. For each level, the panel counts the number of changes adopted.
4. Results are displayed as a half-donut chart with one segment per level, each labeled with the level name and its count. The total number of changes adopted appears in the center of the chart.

#### Additional Notes

* Only PSE records that have progressed to implementation or beyond are included, as changes are not recorded until implementation begins.
* Change levels are fixed in PEARS, and so is the list of individual changes. In [Manage Lists](/administration/administration/manage-lists.md), your organization chooses which of those changes are available in each reporting period.
