# Partner Relationship Graph

A network graph of partners and the contacts listed on them.

#### Location

This panel appears on the following dashboards:

* [SNAP-Ed Dashboard](/analyze/impact-dashboards/snap-ed-dashboard.md)
* [Extension Dashboard](/analyze/impact-dashboards/extension-dashboard.md)

#### Modules Included

* Partners
* Community Relationships (CRM)

#### Filters

**Applied Filters**

* **Viewable records** — Only partners the current user can see in the Partners list are included.
* **Reporting Year**, **Program Areas**, **Unit** — Applied through the partner's reports.

**Non-Applicable Filters**

* **Collaborators** — Partners have no collaborators; record sharing grants replaced them.
* **Verified**, **Interventions**, **Projects**, **Primary Curriculum**, **Session Date Range** — Not applicable to partner records.

#### Calculations

1. PEARS retrieves all viewable partners matching the current dashboard filters, plus the contacts linked to them.
2. A force-directed graph is drawn with a node per partner and a node per contact.
3. An **edge** connects a contact to a partner when that contact is listed on the partner. Its weight is how many interactions named that pair.

#### What It Answers

* Which contacts bridge several partners.
* Which partners are affiliated with contacts nobody has engaged.

#### Additional Notes

* **An edge is an affiliation, not an exchange.** It means "this person is listed on this partner" — see [Add a Contact](/engage/community-relationships/add-a-contact.md). A weight of zero is a real state, not missing data: a contact can be listed and never contacted.
* No edge represents a partner talking to a contact. Interactions are logged by a staff member, and that staff dimension is deliberately left off this graph — see the staff chart on [Partner Contributions](/analyze/impact-dashboards/panels/partner-contributions.md).
* Every value in the graph sits inside the fields that the partner and contact lists already show at their lowest access tier, so the graph cannot expose anything the record lists do not. No phone number, email address, demographic, or interaction note appears in it.
