# Importers

Create records in bulk from a spreadsheet, migrate legacy partnerships and coalitions to Partners, and import WebNEERS data.

PEARS provides several import tools for bulk data entry. Each import type generates a dynamic template customized to your organization's configuration, validates your data, and reports errors in a downloadable error workbook.

## Available Importers

* [Import Partnerships](/engage/partnerships/import-partnerships.md) — Create partnership records in bulk, including action plan links and collaborators. *(Legacy module.)*
* [Import Sites](/administration/administration/manage-sites/import-sites.md) — Create site records and update site demographics in bulk.

## Partner Importer

Organizations moving from the legacy [Partnerships](/engage/partnerships.md) and [Coalitions](/engage/coalitions.md) modules to [Partners](/engage/partners.md) can migrate their existing records themselves. The importer is reached from the Partners list — open the settings (**gear**) menu and choose **Partner Importer**.

**Permission required:** Organization Administrator or Data Manager.

Unlike the other importers, there is no template to download here. The workbook comes from the **Export to Partners** action on the Partnerships or Coalitions list, which reshapes your legacy records into the structure Partners expects. You review that workbook in Excel, then upload it on this page.

Nothing is deleted — your legacy records stay in place after the import.

## WebNEERS Importer

Extension organizations that collect participant data in WebNEERS can upload a WebNEERS export to add participant demographics to their program activities. The WebNEERS Importer is reached from the **cog icon** in the top navigation bar.
