Change Password

Change your PEARS password or reset a forgotten password.

Change a Known Password

If you are logged in and want to change your current password:

Open Account Settings

Click your user avatar in the top navigation bar and select Account Settings.

Go to Change Password

On the Account Settings page, click the Change Password tab.

Enter your passwords

Enter your current password, then enter your new password in both the new password and confirmation fields.

Save

Click Change Password to confirm the change.

Reset a Forgotten Password

If you cannot log in because you forgot your password:

Click Forgot Password

On the PEARS sign-in page, click Forgot Password.

Enter your email

Enter the email address associated with your PEARS account and click Reset my Password.

Check your email

Look for a password reset email from PEARS. Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it in your inbox.

Set a new password

Click the Change Password link in the email. Enter your new password in both fields and submit.

Sign in

A success message confirms the change. Follow the link to return to the PEARS sign-in page and log in with your new password.

Password Requirements

Your new password must meet the following requirements:

• At least 8 characters in length

• Characters from at least two of the following categories: letters (uppercase or lowercase), numbers, or special characters

The password form displays real-time validation indicators as you type, showing green checkmarks when requirements are met.
